Paris & the Heart of Normandy for their river cruises.

Paris

La Roche-Guyon

First stop of the itinerary was the little village of La Roche-Guyon with less than 500 inhabitants and historically a key point of guard on the river Seine because of it’s position and it’s Chateau built in the 12th century.

Vernon

Located in the department of Eure in Normandy, Vernon was the 2nd stop of the itinerary, it’s about 30 minutes away by ship and 15 with the car from La Roche Guyon it was around 25.000 inhabitants it lies on the banks of the river Seine, about midway between Paris and Rouen.

Rouen

The capital of Normandy

Les-Andelys

Last stop on the way back to Paris, a little village that was truly wonderful and a pleasure to visit.
