At the start of October I had the chance to participate at the first Sony Kando Trip Europe organized by Sony Italia in Jordan for the 10 years anniversary of Sony Alpha launch of the mirrorless system discovering a country I’ve always wanted to visit and meeting the Sony team that I’ve been working with during the recent years. I also had the chance to test some of the latest products released on the market A7cR, A7cII, 16-35mm 2.8 GM II.
I particularly enjoyed the combination of A7CR with the new 16-35mm 2.8 GM II and testing these two in the desert was even more interesting. A lightweight camera that still provides very high resolution. A new feature is the artificial intelligence to recognize subjects such as people, animals, trains, planes quickly can be very helpful. The new lens has a reduced weight compared to the previous version, but very fast autofocus and excellent image quality.
A few more images from the desert.
By saying that it felt to be on another planet that's putting it mildly, truly a unique experience marveled at what nature creates, shapes and so much more.
Petra
Last stop of the trip was the Dead Sea impossible not to notice how the level is decreasing of 1 meter every year while approaching the shores of the sea, it was a wonderful scenery to watch the sunset in its vicinity.
